Kind of pathetic that HIPPA does not apply to newborns’ moms. Babies’ doctors feast on their privacy by digging through their charts in order to take the best care of their babies. Just like how babies feast on their breastmilk to survive. Necessary, yet sour.

After delivery, women become moms. Privacy, body, time, energy…all lost into the void of another person for the next few decades. Women themselves become less of a person thereof.
